In the end 19 members and wives went to the Gurkha Museum. We were all I well educated by the excellent 60 minute talk on the history of the Ghurkas given by the assistant curator. We then viewed the museum exhibits at our leisure before going our separate ways. Exhibits included uniforms, weapons, personal effects, photographs and dioramas. The museum has not changed much in 50 years and is due to close soon for a major revamp.
